How is Microchip IVF Treatment Applied?
Sperm is prepared for the micro-injection process. Sperm are placed in the fluidized chip channels, followed by a specially produced solution. As the sperm try to reach the egg cell from the tubes, their passage through these canals begins. The microfluidic chip acts as a filter here. At the end of the application, unhealthy DNA damaged sperms are stuck in these channels. Healthy sperms with less DNA breaks are collected in the opposite section by passing through micro channels. Then, these genetically better selected sperms are used in the microinjection method to obtain quality embryos.
